The IATF Korean Martial Arts Division


The International ASAS Taekwon-Do Federation (IATF) proudly hosts a specialized division dedicated to the development, support, and promotion of Korean martial arts instructors, with primary focus on Hapkido. This division operates under the leadership and vision of Grandmaster Jesús M. Alicea (9th Dan in ITF Taekwon-Do), IATF President an 8th Dan in Hapkido, recognized by Grandmaster Robert Williams and the World Moo Sul Kwan Federation. The official Director of the Hapkido Department is Master Anthony Pousset, 7th Dan in Taekwon-Do, 6th Dan in Hapkido and 5th Dan in Tang Soo Do, who leads instructor training, technical standardization, and the expansion of authentic Korean self-defense education within the IATF network worldwide.

Our mission is to preserve, teach, and advance the authentic principles of Hapkido and other Korean martial arts, providing instructors with the highest level of technical education, ethical guidance, and professional support within the framework of the IATF. We are committed to fostering unity, respect, and excellence among practitioners worldwide.

Our vision is to build a global network of certified instructors who uphold the traditional spirit of Korean martial arts; discipline, harmony, and self-defense, while promoting personal growth, community service, and the continuous evolution of the art.
